About Us

The club was started in 1993 by three local falconers, Alan Greenhalgh, Bob Dalton and Roger Ratcliff . The first meeting was held at the Rose and Crown public house at Sandhurst, a venue that was to stay for the club for 2 years.
The aim was to form a club:

  • To promote excellence in the practise of the sport of Falconry and Hawking.
  • To encourage high standards of raptor keeping.
  • To foster the well being and conservation of raptors.
  • To give assistance, education and advice as required.
  • To support and not to decry or oppose any legitamate fieldsports and persons engaged therein.

There have been several changes of venue over the years and the club now meets at the Royal Swan at Blackwater, Camberley on the third Tuesday of each calander month. The aim of the club still is atill the same as it was origanally set up to do in 1993 and has around forty members. New members are welcome.
